Miles Farmer

Miles Farmer brings together expertise in state and federal energy regulation and thrives on issues that benefit from a multi-pronged approach or analysis across jurisdictional spheres. He helps clients navigate complex regulatory challenges and devise creative advocacy strategies to break down intractable barriers. Prior to starting Roselle, Miles was an independent energy policy, strategy, and legal consultant for corporate, trade association, foundation, and non-profit clients, and was a legal advisor to Commissioner Allison Clements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Kim Smaczniak

Kim is a seasoned litigator, rigorous advocate, and creative problem solver. She offers clients a deep knowledge of energy regulatory matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and expertise in advocating for their interests before FERC and the courts. Prior to starting Roselle, Kim served as Special Counsel at the Office of General Counsel of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Sam Walsh

Sam has extensive experience advising clients on complex energy matters, including federal and state regulatory proceedings, litigation, policy development and enforcement. Prior to starting Roselle, Sam was the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Energy.

Avi Zevin

Avi Zevin advises businesses, NGOs, and state governments on a wide range of energy-related legal and policy matters, including federal and state electric regulation, energy tax, and federal financial assistance before federal and state agencies, Congress, and the courts. Prior to starting Roselle, Avi served as Special Assistant to the President for Clean Energy Implementation at the White House and as Deputy General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Energy.
